Synopsis[]
A storm blows Popeye's ship, the Lady Olive, off course and out of fresh water. Popeye drops anchor off the shore of a small island to repair the rigging as Pappy and Swee'Pea row towards land to get water. They find a fresh spring behind a ring of bushes, but someone or something throws them into the trees when they get near. They sail away without any water and without learning that the something was a shipwrecked circus gorilla named Gargo, who only wanted to play.
