The Popeye Song Folio

The Popeye Song Folio is a 1959 album containing the songs from various Popeye animated shorts, performed by Captain Paul and the Seafaring Band. A 2014 edition of the album also includes two additional songs by original Popeye voice actor William "Billy" Costello: "Blow the Man Down" - an old sea shanty - and of course "I'm Popeye the Sailor Man".

• The album takes its title from a Popeye song book published in 1936, containing several songs such as these.
• Captain Paul's rendition of "I'm Popeye the Sailor Man" is different from Costello's.
