The Rough House Cafe, also known as the Rough-House, is a location in Thimble Theatre and Popeye comics, a diner owned and operated by Rough House. A "greasy spoon" type of establishment, it commonly serves hamburgers. J. Wellington Wimpy is known to haunt the place in his daily quest for a free lunch. The shorter, humorous comic strips featuring Wimpy are therefore often set at the diner.
The Cafe has appeared onscreen in the 1960s Popeye the Sailor animated series, as well as in the 1980 live-action film.
