Randal Keith Milholland (born November 25, 1975[1]), credited as either Randy Milholland or R. K. Milholland, is an American cartoonist who began writing and illustrating the Popeye Sunday strip on June 5, 2022.
Milholland created the webcomic Something Postive in 2001.[2] For Popeye's 90th birthday celebration, he submitted several proposals to King Features, who selected one to run in Popeye's Cartoon Club on July 21, 2019.[3] On May 28, 2020, he began doing regular daily strips for Popeye's Cartoon Club,[4] and was later chosen to succeed Hy Eisman on the Sunday strip upon the latter's retirement after a 28-year run. He also writes and illustrates the Thursday strips of Olive & Popeye, his first strip published on September 1, 2022.[5]
