Popeye's great-great-grandfather is Percy's adoptive father.
History[]
When Darlene Dragon left Percy at his door, he raised Percy like a son, even as the young dragon proved to be of great intelligence. Both lived happily together until the dragon grew up, where it was decided that he needed to live on his own.
However, after leaving home, Percy was captured by Brutus' ancestor, the "Dragon Exterminator". Popeye's ancestor then encouraged Percy to act like a true dragon, enabling him to use his fire breath and scare Brutus' ancestor away.

- The character is very similar to Popeye. Both are sailors and have adoptive sons (Percy and Swee'Pea).
