"Popeye's Junior Headache" is a 1960 episode of Popeye the Sailor.

Plot

Jr headache

After working for three days straight, Popeye desperately needs his sleep, but Olive wants him to babysit her little niece (Deezil Oyl, in her first appearance). Young Deezil greets Popeye with the old bucket over the door prank and, after her aunt leaves for the beauty parlor, sets the book he is reading to her from on fire.

Deezil then insists to "play horsey" with Uncle Popeye, using forks as spurs and even branding him with a target to shoot her toy arrows at. The lassoed sailor tries to eat spinach to get free, but Deezil has changed the labels on the cans and eaten the green vegetable herself. Unable to control her own strength, she beats Popeye up and, when Olive comes back with her hair done, she sees the beaten Popeye dressed up to imitate her with his "hair" also matching hers. Thinking that Popeye is "mocking" her, this incurs Olive's wrath and she viciously bashes him repeatedly over his head with a vase.

After Popeye ends up in the hospital because of Olive's abuse, both Olive and her niece come to visit (while ignoring the sign on the door explicitly saying "No Visitors"), only for Deezil's tricks to leave him knocked out once more, while Olive ignores her niece's actions and again wrongly blames Popeye when he gets knocked out.
