Penny Antics is Popeye's 211th cartoon. A compilation film, it is a color remake of Fleischer Studios' also footage-reusing Customers Wanted (1939), produced by Famous Studios and released on March 11, 1955.
Plot[]
A virtual retread of Customers Wanted, with Popeye and Bluto running competing penny arcades showing customer Wimpy clips from past shorts, although in this case, rather than each arcade owner showing clips from the same story, they show different stories (the shorts The Fistic Mystic, Wotta Knight and Silly Hillbilly).
