Plot[]
It is the day of the strong horse competition at the state fair. Both Bluto and Olive have entered their horses. Little Swee'Pea wants to enter his horse too, but Judge Wimpy will not let him enter his old nag.
Bluto starts cheating from the start. He makes the first horse slip on marbles. He distracts the second by putting pictures of a pretty mare in his blinders. He gets Olive's horse disqualified by slipping on syrup.
Olive wants Popeye to stop Bluto using Swee'Pea's horse. Bluto attempts to mess up the old mare by cutting the sled's tow line, but Bluto's scheme fails after Swee'Pea feeds the mare some spinach.
Swee'Pea and his mare not only win the cup for the strong horse competition but every other event too, while Bluto ends up trapped under his own horse who could not even pull the sled. Yet he does win the hog calling contest.
