Floyd Buckley (October 21, 1877 - November 14, 1956) was a star of film and radio, having appeared in 15 films between 1914 and 1953. He was born in Chatham, New York, and died in New York City. He voiced Popeye on radio, and also provided the sailor's voice for a single theatrical cartoon.

  • In the 1930s, he served as the voice of Popeye in the latter's radio show and announcements.
    • Wheatena put so much money into the broadcast rights paid to KFS and into leasing national airtime through the NBC-WEAF Network that their remaining budget did not afford them enough money to contract Mae Questel or Jack Mercer (who had voiced Popeye in the cartoons).
  • Buckley voiced Popeye in a single Fleischer Studios cartoon, 1935's Be Kind to 'Aminals'.
