Doing Impossikible Stunts is Popeye's 84th theatrical short. Produced by Fleischer Studios and released on August 2, 1940, it recycles footage from several earlier cartoons by the same studio.
Plot[]
A stunt man is wanted at Mystery Pictures, so Popeye is bringing along his stunt reels. He is followed by Swee'Pea, who shows he can do his own tricks, but the boy is sent home by Popeye. At the studio, the sailor shows the Stunt Director a selection of his stunts (taken from I Never Changes My Altitude, I Wanna Be a Life Guard and Bridge Ahoy! Then Swee'Pea sneaks in and passes along his own reel showing the peril-laden latter section from Lost and Foundry. The impressed Stunt Director then signs Swee'Pea instead of Popeye.
