Berkeley Breathed (June 21, 1957) is a Pulitzer-winning cartoonist best known for his comic strips Bloom County, Outland and Opus. Born in Encino, California, Breathed was raised in Houston, Texas, and began his work on Bloom County in 1980.
In 2013, Breathed did the cover art of Mars Attacks Popeye.
