Plot[]
Sergeant Blast is teaching Privates Goon and Oyl how to dig a foxhole. Alice gets carried away and digs hers very deep. Colonel Crumb arrives and tells them that an important general is coming for dinner, adding that the General only drinks spring water. Since there is none on the base, he sends Sergeant Blast, along with Olive and Alice, to Mount Intrepid to get some fresh spring water.
Along the way, Alice and Olive goof up at every turn. When they finally get back with a bucket of spring water, it is spilled just as the Sergeant is ready to give it to the Colonel. Luckily, the deep foxhole that Alice dug earlier starts gushing with fresh spring water to save them from their blunder.
